Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh watermelon cubed
  • 1 ½ ounces tequila
  • ½ ounce grapefruit juice freshly squeezed, if possible
  • ½ ounce lime juice freshly squeezed
  • ½ ounce simple syrup adjust to taste
  • Pinch of salt
  • Club soda to top
  • Watermelon slice or wedge for garnish
  • Lime wedge for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Watermelon Puree: In a blender, add the cubed watermelon. Blend until smooth. If you prefer a smoother drink, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the pulp.
  • Mix the Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 cup of the watermelon puree, tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Fill the shaker with ice.
  • Shake It Up: Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill the mixture and combine the flavors.
  • Prepare the Glass: Fill a glass with ice cubes. Strain the cocktail mixture over the ice.
  • Top with Club Soda: Gently pour club soda over the cocktail to fill the glass and give it a refreshing fizz.
